Morgan Wallen headlines Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh this Friday and Saturday (June 5th and 6th, 2026) - and we have some inklings as to who will be joining him for his iconic pre-show walk-out, including Pat McAfee, Ben Roethisberger and more.
Wallen's walk-out has become a beloved tradition ahead of his shows in recent years, with the Sneedville megastar being joined by a dazzling array of stars from the sports and music worlds. We've seen him flanked by Travis Kelce, Tom Brady, Mike Tyson and even Drake - so naturally, we're wondering who we can look forward to seeing walking alongside the ‘Love Somebody’ hitmaker in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
We've broken down our pre-show walk-out predictions for Wallen's 2026 Acrisure Stadium concert below, ranked by how likely we really think these cameos are...
Money On Me (Most Likely): Pat McAfee
Sports broadcaster Pat McAfee undoubtedly feels like the strongest candidate for Wallen's walk-out buddy at Acrisure Stadium. Aside from being good pals with the country titan, McAfee walked out with Wallen back in April 2024 at Indiana's Lucas Oil Stadium.
Although he doesn't repeat his guests too often, we reckon it's time for another McAfee cameo. This would be the perfect place and a crowd-pleasing pick, with McAfee - who is currently making a foray into country music - being a loyal Pittsburgh native.
Hope That's True (Very Possible): Ben Roethisberger & TJ Watt
Ben Roethisberger - or Big Ben, as he's affectionately known to Pittsburgh Steelers fans - has a longstanding affinity for country music, making an appearance in the music video for The PovertyNeck Hillbillies’ ‘Mr. Right Now’, as well as reportedly being friends with artists like Walker Hayes, Garth Brooks and Justin Moore.
The latter's ‘Bait A Hook’ was even inspired by an encounter in a Nashville bar with Big Ben, with the song being about a girl who leaves Moore to go and hang out with Ben.
TJ Watt, meanwhile, is a Steelers legend and has been touted across a few online fan-groups as hopefully being up for one of Wallene's Acrisure Stadium walk-outs. Watt isn't known to be a major country fan like Big Ben is, but he's such a widely revered local star, that we reckon Wallen might give him the nod on Friday or Saturday.
F150-50 (Fifty-Fifty Chance): Kenny Pickett & Sidney Crosby
Former Pittsburgh Panthers and Steelers favourite Kenny Pickett now plies his trade over at the Carolina Panthers, but he's still a beloved figure in Pennsylvania. He's also a known country aficionado, and famously appeared on-stage with Luke Combs at a 2023 show to shotgun a beer with the ‘Beautiful Crazy’ hitmaker.
What's more, it was a running joke among Steelers fans for years that Pickett looks a lot like Wallen, which could make for a particularly amusing walk-out at Acrisure Stadium.
Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby would draw a huge reception if he emerges alongside Wallen. Crosby is reportedly a major country fan, and when a number of Canadian hockey players were recently interviewed and asked who their pick for the Super Bowl performer would be, a lot of them - including Crosby - said Wallen.
Just in Case (Wildcard Pick): Tommy Wallen
Morgan Wallen's dad, Tommy Wallen, is apparently a massive Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Wallen has joked in the past about being raised to be a Steelers supporter himself.
Wallen has been joined by family-members for his pre-show ritual before, bringing his son, Indie, back in August 2023. Given how Tommy has been a fixture on the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper's new SiriusXM radio station toasting Wallen's growth in recent years, this would serve as a heartwarming father-and-son moment for the two. It might be the Wild Card, but if we had our pick, we'd choose this one.
