Briley King has announced that she is ‘hard launching her music career’.
King rose to fame in 2025 after she shared a video of her singing ‘The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia’ backstage at one of her husband, Marcus King’s shows. She later went on to release the track with The Marcus King Band, with her singing lead vocals. It has since been clear that the North Carolina native is an incredibly talented vocalist.
Occasionally joining her husband on stage for a ditty or two, King is mostly focussed on her business, ‘Little Bird Trucking’, her beloved trucker hat company. She shares her life in a chaotic, kooky way, garnering a social media following that waits for the next wild and wonderful installment. Will it be a snake she’s found in her garden or her doing an outfit of the day video whilst also doing the splits? It is truly unpredictable in the best possible way.
It seems that King is now either going full-send on her music career or - stay with us - royally trolling her haters.
The latter only comes to mind because her announcement on social media read, “haters clear ur schedule I’m hard launching a music career this week”. We then swipe to see her face on what appears to be a Warner Music Group ID badge. Seems pretty legit.
Or does it? As said, her talent is not in question. Take one look at the video and you’ll see. It’s the rollout that’s got us questioning. And honestly? It’s kind of iconic either way.
Her latest Instagram story shows her in her truck, talking to camera saying, “today is my first day of my music career and I’m on my way to a meeting about my trucker hats so that is really cool.”
Sure. Normal. But then it gets real Briley King - and we love it.
“I just got done reading some of your hate comments. I don’t understand why some of y’all delete them when I pin them, like, stay a while!...is that a song, wait I forgot I’m a music girl…” she then goes on to sing ‘stay a while’ as if it were a song and screech it at the top of her voice before the video ends.
In conclusion, we’re not sure. But we’re sat and we’re excited. You know who else is excited? The Opry. They commented saying, “consider our schedules cleared” after King’s caption tagged them offering them the exclusive. Watch this space.
