Kenny Chesney has unveiled the tracklist for his eagerly anticipated new album, Silver Sands Marina, with Megan Moroney, Colbie Caillat and Lily Meola all set to feature.

Moroney, who linked up with Chesney for the CMA-nominated ‘You Had To Be There’ in 2025, combines once again with the ‘I Go Back’ hitmaker for ‘It Just Got Weird’. Colbie Caillat guests on ‘What We Got Going On’, while Lily Meola appears on ‘Goldfish’.

In addition, fans will be able to enjoy the already-released singles ‘Carry On’ and ‘Silver Sands Marina’ as part of the forthcoming album, which arrives on Friday, September 25th.

The project, which serves as Chesney's 21st studio album, will also include brand new offerings, such as ‘Shot Glass’, ‘Burn My Boat’, ‘Sad Casino’ and ‘Shot A Car Into Space’.

In a new statement, Chesney shares how the record came about, “It’s funny how records show you who they are. And Silver Sands Marina came together in a whole other way when we found the title track, and a couple others. When we went in and cut those last three tracks, I realized: it’s like a rock in your shoe, it’ll bother you until it’s right when you’re dealing in songs. But when it’s right, you know”.

The Knoxville native, who recently opened a new Living in Fast Forward exhibition at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame, goes on, “Some of these songs are unlike anything people have heard, or haven’t heard in a long time. Some of them go deep, some of them will make people turn it up, a few will make them laugh… But, together, I think they’ll remind them how great it is to be alive. Even on days where you need a song like ‘Carry On,’ we’re making the best of what we’ve got”.

He adds, “I loved talking about Heart Life Music on TalkShopLive, because it let me get inside what we were trying to do and the process. It was a chance to show people how much telling my story meant to me, and I feel the same way about this record”.

Chesney concludes with a note to his No Shoes Nation fanbase about the purpose he hopes the album will serve for them when it arrives in September, “Sometimes the best medicine is just turning up the music, turning to the person next to you and singing out loud. Happy, mad, sad, it doesn’t really matter: music makes most things better. Even if it can’t solve your problem, it’ll make your heart a little lighter – and when it is feeling good, it’ll just take it to another level”.

Chesney has always been synonymous with a vibrant, life-affirming brand of music, epitomised by galvanising anthems such as ‘Get Along’, ‘Summertime’ and ‘Here and Now’.

Judging by the country titan's words about Silver Sands Marina, it looks like Chesney will continue to serve up uplifting, joyful music encouraging listeners to live life to the full.
