A multi-platinum record holder, singer, stadium headliner, and now the voice of Rusty Twang - Luke Combs has ventured into the voice acting world with his latest appearance on Disney Channel's Big City Greens.

Combs has been on quite the journey of embarking on bold accomplishments this past summer - and the first-time solo country headliner at London's iconic Wembley stadium has just added a new one under his belt.

Big City Greens is an animated TV series on Disney Channel and Disney+. The show follows the Greens, a smalltown country family that are adjusting to life in the big city. The show airs its season 5 opener on August 21st, which will debut Luke Comb's very own character, Rusty Twang.

Rusty Twang is a country singer in the show, with Combs bringing the character to life through his unmistakable pitch. In the episode 'Daddy Ditty,' Combs performs a song as Rusty Twang, "Watch Out for the Greens."

The character seems like a perfect fit for his debut acting role, as he is so candidly, well, Luke. The 'Be By You' crooner seems to think so as well, as he told Billboard what eased him into the role: "It helped that the character stayed pretty true to who I am in real life, so that made it feel familiar."

Whether his appearance as Rusty Twang is the first of many acting roles for the star is still up in the air, but with three young boys at home, Combs has expressed his excitement to do something that he feels like is more for them than anything.

"This will be way cooler in their eyes than anything else I've done," he stated.

Luke Combs voice acting debut on Big City Greens airs August 21st on Disney Channel, where fans of both Combs and the show will be able to see his character, Rusty Twang, come to life for the first time.
