Megan Moroney is heading Down Under for her biggest Australian headline shows yet. Moroney has announced three arena shows for May 2027 as part of her Cloud 9 Tour.
There will be stops in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Pre-Sales begin at 11am local time on Tuesday, September 8th, with general tickets going on sale at 12pm local time on Wednesday, September 9th.
She'll kick things off at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on May 8 before heading to Sydney’s Afterpay Arena, formerly Qudos Bank Arena, on May 11, and then Brisbane Entertainment Centre on May 14. Laci Kaye Booth will join Moroney as special guest across all three dates.
It marks a pretty big jump for Moroney in Australia, particularly when you look at how quickly her shows there have grown.
She first went Down Under in March 2024 for CMC Rocks Queensland, appearing on a line-up which included Lainey Wilson, Tyler Hubbard, Chris Young, Nate Smith and Ian Munsick.
Moroney then returned in October 2025, this time at the top of the bill for the popular Ridin’ Hearts Festival in Sydney and Melbourne. She also played an exclusive headline show in Brisbane, joined by Avery Anna, which sold out. So less than two years later, she will return for her first run of Australian headline arena shows. But that step up probably shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
Moroney released her third studio album, Cloud 9, in February, and it became her first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200.
In Australia, it debuted at No. 2 on the ARIA Country Albums Chart, reaching No. 20 on the overall Albums Chart. The Australian dates form part of what is already Moroney’s biggest international headline run to date, with the Cloud 9 Tour taking her through major arenas across North America, the UK and Europe before she heads back to Australia.
