Morgan Wallen has compiled his 2026 Summertime Sounds playlist on Apple Music, and it features a star-studded array of artists that showcase Wallen's varied taste in a multitude of genres, ranging from rap to indie-rock to country and everything in-between.

Aside from showing love to artists Wallen has collaborated with recently by including some of their most recognisable songs, such as Ella Langley (‘I Can't Love You Anymore’), Post Malone (‘I Had Some Help’) and Eric Church (‘Springsteen’), the Sneedville megastar spotlights a broad range of artists you might not expect on here.

For instance, Wallen includes ‘People Watching’ by British alt-rock prodigy, Sam Fender, as well as showcasing indie-dance group RÜFÜS DU SOL with their song, ’Sundream’.

The other thing to note is the fact that Wallen is clearly - like most of us - a major Eagles fan, with the ‘Last Night’ chart-topper including three hits from the iconic band - ‘Hotel California’, ‘Desperado’ and ‘Take It Easy’ - all of which feel wonderfully summery.

It's the latest demonstration of how diverse Wallen's sonic palette is, something we've been increasingly seeing evidence of in his music, particularly across I'm the Problem.

On ‘Genesis’, for instance, Wallen channels the hazy, grungy feel of The War on Drugs, while on ‘Miami’, the ‘Thought You Should Know’ crooner delves into his Atlanta trap influences. While some may criticise Wallen for how far he pushes the boundaries between country and adjacent genres, it's undoubtedly refreshing to see an artist dominating the space by being authentic and true to the music he loves.
