Thomas Rhett and Jordan Davis deliver an unexpected performance of their chart-topping collaboration, ‘Ain't A Bad Life’, during Season 2 of Netflix's hit series, Ransom Canyon.

TR and JD make an appearance as part of the local benefit concert, which has been put on by Quinn (Minka Kelly) as she attempts to save Ransom Canyon. The series picks up where Season One left off, with Quinn and Staten (Josh Duhamel) continuing their will-they-won't-they relationship. The concert takes place in Episode 7.

Speaking ahead of the episode airing, Ransom Canyon's showrunner, April Blair, paid tribute to how easy both Rhett and Davis were to work with, “Thomas Rhett and Jordan responded to the story of Quinn throwing this to save the small town. They were so sweet, humble, down to play, and it just fit the vibe perfectly”.

It's not the first time Ransom Canyon has incorporated country music, with Charley Crockett making a surprise cameo in Season One to perform ‘Spade’ and ’I Need Your Love’.

It fits the cozy, bucolic atmosphere that permeates the neo-Western-inspired romance series, which has amassed a loyal following since Season One premiered in April 2025.

Rhett is currently in the middle of his blockbuster run of 2026 tour-stops, with the Georgia native opening for Morgan Wallen this week at Ann Arbor (a show that's set to be the biggest ticketed event in US history) before heading across The Pond to support Luke Combs for his eagerly anticipated stint at London's Wembley Stadium.
