Morgan Wallen headlines Denver's Empower Field at Mile High this Friday and Saturday (May 29th and 30th, 2026) - and we have some inklings as to who will be joining him for his iconic pre-show walk-out, including Peyton Manning, Bruce Brown and more.
Wallen's walk-out has become a beloved tradition ahead of his shows in recent years, with the Sneedville megastar being joined by a dazzling array of stars from the sports and music worlds. We've seen him flanked by Travis Kelce, Tom Brady, Mike Tyson and even Drake - so naturally, we're wondering who we can look forward to seeing walking alongside the ‘Love Somebody’ hitmaker in Denver, Colorado.
We've broken down our pre-show walk-out predictions for Wallen's 2026 Empower Field at Mile High concert below, ranked by how likely we really think these cameos are...
Money On Me (Most Likely): Peyton Manning
Manning is no stranger to a Wallen walk-out, joining the country titan for arguably his most famous walk-out to date, at the home of the Tennessee Volunteers - Neyland Stadium - in 2024. Manning is a Colorado resident, and still a highly respected figure in the state due to his successful stint as the Broncos’ quarterback.
He took the franchise to four back-to-back play-offs and two Super Bowl appearances, including a victory in Super Bowl 50. Safe to say he'd be a crowd-pleaser if Wallen does opt for his good friend Manning as one of his Denver walk-outs buddies.
Hope That's True (Very Possible): Bruce Brown
Denver Nuggets star Bruce Brown has become somewhat of a style icon in recent years, due to his Country and Western-inspired ‘Lone Ranger’ outfits in the tunnel. Brown has spoken at length about his love for country music, citing the likes of Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs and - crucially - Wallen as a few of his favourite artists.
We think Brown would be a great choice for one of Wallen's Denver walk-outs - his status as a local sports star and his clear love for the genre surely makes him a no-brainer.
F150-50 (Fifty-Fifty Chance): Deion Sanders, Tyler Freeman & Nikola Jokić
The Head Coach of the Colorado Buffalos, Deion Sanders, would be a more surprising and perhaps slightly less well-known choice, but it's no secret that Wallen has been making a habit of opting for revered figures within the college sports circuit of late.
Similarly, Tyler Freeman isn't the most famous Colorado Rockies player by a long shot, but he does have Wallen and ERNEST's 2023 anthem, ‘Cowgirls’, as his walk-up song this year.
Nikola Jokić, by contrast, is a global star and - like Bruce Brown - a Denver Nuggets player. He generally seems to keep himself to himself when it comes to public appearances like this, but given how Jokić is such a legendary figure in The Mile High City, we wouldn't be surprised if Wallen and his camp at least ask the question.
Just in Case (Wildcard Pick): Drake
Okay, okay, we know. Just let the whole Morgan Wallen and Drake thing go already.
This would be a wildcard in the truest sense of the word, but you just never know. Drake recently overtook Wallen's Billboard Hot 100 record by charting 42 songs, outpacing Wallen's previous record of 37 from last May. Drake was blocked from taking over the whole Top Ten, though, by Ella Langley's ‘Choosin’ Texas’.
Given the fact that Wallen and Langley will be together on Night Two in Denver, this could be quite a fun way to show that, despite the chart rivalry of late and numerous commentators suggesting Langley has thwarted Drake's plans, it's all love between the trio.
Drake did name-check Wallen on ‘White Bone’ from his new project, HABIBTI, after all, so even though they didn't collaborate on any of the rapper's three new albums - HABIBTI, ICEMAN and MAID OF HONOUR - the two artists still seem to be buds.
Morgan Wallen and Drake have been friends ever since the Toronto phenom invited Wallen to appear in his ‘You Broke My Heart’ music video in December 2023. Drake then joined Wallen for his Houston walk-out last summer, which reignited speculation that the duo were plotting a star-studded, genre-blurring collaboration.
We still suspect Drake has hopped on the long-teased extended version of Wallen's I'm the Problem ‘Interlude’, and with fans speculating that Wallen might have a deluxe version of that album up his sleeve named after his Still the Problem Tour.
Regardless of whether they have a song together or not, a Drake cameo is always a surefire way to get the crowd hyped up. He doesn't have any particularly close ties to Denver, so this is certainly the least likely - but most fun - of all the options.
