Briley King, who has embraced the ‘Country Music’s Most Hated Wife’ label the media gave her, has launched her podcast, ‘So Anyway’, on October 16th, 2026.
King, wife of country music’s Marcus King, is known for her trucker hat company, ‘Little Bird Trucking’. But in September 2025, a video of her singing ‘The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia’ with her husband’s band backstage went viral.
They released the single in October 2025 but after that, her music career remained quiet for 12 months. That is until she hard-launched it in September 2026. In just over a month, she’s released her two singles, ‘Keepin’ Caroline’ and ‘Bad Guy’, made her Grand Ole Opry debut and now, started a podcast.
“Here we are in the So Anyway Society,” she addressed her listeners in the first episode, “It’s like a country club that I made up for myself because I definitely can’t get into one anywhere else.”
Frequently laughing off negative publicity, King uses it to fuel her personality-driven online presence. In her promo reel she says, “I’m done being quiet, I got a lot to say”.
It’s the epitome of Briley King - honest, chaotic and so, so fun. She talks about the wild ride that is her life and is unapologetically herself. It’s brilliant, and so is the jingle. We’re formally requesting it be released as an actual song. Please and thank you.
