During his recent tour-stop in Salt Lake City, Zach Bryan reportedly told the crowd he'd be releasing his new EP, Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs, in October.

Although there appears to be no footage of Bryan revealing this to fans, there are a number of supposed attendees confirming the claim across Reddit, Instagram and TikTok.

Bryan has been teasing Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs since early July, when the Oklahoma native uploaded two unreleased songs, ‘Lodi When’ and ‘Better Friends’ to YouTube. In the captions of both these videos - which have since been delated - Bryan shares, “A snippet of the song ‘Better Friends’ / ‘Lodi When’ off of the upcoming EP, ‘Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs’”.

Since then, Bryan has been debuting more music that's expected to feature on the forthcoming project, such as ‘Backwards’. We suspect the project will also include other recent teasers, like ‘Breakfast in Bed’, ‘You'll Get By’, ‘Pocket Change’ and ‘You and I’.

It will mark Bryan's first body of work since January's With Heaven On Top, which has spawned fan-favourites such as ‘Say Why’, ’Appetite’, ‘Runny Eggs’ and ‘Cannonball’.

The ‘Something in the Orange’ hitmaker's crowd at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah were treated to live renditions of two of the new songs, ‘Lodi When’ and ’Backwards’.

We're hoping Bryan treats us to a single or two ahead of October, something that feels more likely than in previous years, given how the country-folk chart-topper has been following a stricter release schedule since re-signing with Warner Records last year.

Before this, Bryan's rollouts were famously sporadic and unpredictable, with the ‘I Remember Everything’ crooner often surprise-dropping singles and entire EPs. But in the case of With Heaven On Top, he announced the release date around five months ahead of time. Similarly, with Young Manhood and Other Donatable Organs, he has unveiled the project months before it is actually due to arrive.
