Ella Langley has released her Summertime Sounds playlist exclusively on Apple Music, with the ‘Choosin‘ Texas’ hitmaker spotlighting an array of breezy, feel-good classics and more contemporary earworms, including a number of her own stand-out tracks.

‘Choosin’ Texas’ - naturally - has to be in there, with Langley also featuring other fan-favourites from her latest album, Dandelion, such as ‘Be Her’, ‘Bottom Of Your Boots’, ‘You & Me Time’ and ‘Butterfly Season’ with her good friend, Miranda Lambert.

We're also glad to see Langley's hugely popular collaboration with Morgan Wallen, ‘I Can't Love You Anymore’, on the country trailblazer's Summertime Sounds playlist. The star-studded duet appeared on the deluxe version of Langley's Dandelion.

In addition, the Alabama native has taken the opportunity to showcase some of her biggest influences, with Langley including Fleetwood Mac staples such as ‘Gold Dust Woman’, ‘Seven Wonders’ and ‘Everywhere’, along with Stevie Nicks’ solo hit, ‘Stop Dragging My Heart Around’. You can undoubtedly sense Fleetwood Mac's impact on both Langley's easygoing, folk-rock sensibilities and her overall style.

Langley has spoken previously to Holler about how much she loves Chris Stapleton's catalogue, citing the former SteelDrivers frontman as having a major impact on her sound.

It feels fitting, therefore, that Stapleton's traditional-leaning gem, ‘Traveller’, features on this playlist, alongside an underrated SteelDrivers offering, ‘Where Rainbows Never Die’.

There are appearances from other modern country titans, such as Eric Church (‘Over When It's Over’) and Brothers Osborne (‘Weed, Whiskey and Willie’), as well. But the primary voices on here are unquestionably more old-school, highlighting Langley's penchant for classic country, with the likes of Keith Whitley, Conway Twitty, George Jones, Patsy Cline, Patty Loveless and Merle Haggard all pride of place.

Much like Wallen's Summertime Sounds playlist, which features plenty of Eagles, Langley also pays homage to the rock legends by including ‘Lyin’ Eyes’ and ‘One of These Nights’.

And of course, it wouldn't be a true summer country playlist without some Shania Twain on there, with Langley showing love to Shania's lovestruck ballad, ‘You're Still the One’.

Twain praised Langley's rendition of the 1997 chart-topper last month, and the song's inclusion in her Summertime Sounds playlist underlines just how much Langley loves it.
